ICYMI: Friends for Foxx campaign continues to power forward following strong week with back-to-back announcements

Chicago - Friends for Foxx continues to focus on the primary election making several power moves to re-energize voters as the campaign moves forward. Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx has brought bold criminal justice reform and she’s just getting started.

Back on the Airwaves

The first television ad from Friends for Foxx is now on airwaves across Cook County. The commercial highlights Foxx’s personal experience that she has used to take on violence and injustice while in office. The campaign released the following statement:

“Kim Foxx knows firsthand the injustices communities across Cook County are facing and the potential we’re losing every day without bold justice reform. Those experiences are what make Kim the best candidate to lead the State’s Attorney Office,” said Campaign Manager Chrystian Woods. “Taking cheap shots is easier for opponents when they don’t have anything else to run on.”

Growing Staff

The campaign brought in an array of local and national talent to help continue building out the broad coalition of supporters for Kim Foxx. Friends for Foxx announced several new members who combined bring more than 35 years of political experience. Foxx released the following statement:

“I’m inspired by the talented new additions to our team as we continue to fight for justice and equity across Cook County,” said Cook County’s State’s Attorney Kim Foxx. “This mix of local and national talent, making the cross-country trek to join us, shows the impact our criminal justice reform has had across the nation. We’re only getting started.”
