Friends for Foxx reigniting voter energy ahead of elections as first television ad hits the Chicago airwaves
Chicago - Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx is reminding voters why she’s the only candidate with the strength to continue leading the office. In a new ad that launched Thursday, Kim Foxx’s personal and professional experience reminds voters why they elected her in 2016.
“Kim Foxx knows firsthand the injustices communities across Cook County are facing and the potential we’re losing every day without bold justice reform. Those experiences are what make Kim the best candidate to lead the State’s Attorney Office,” said Campaign Manager Chrystian Woods. “Taking cheap shots is easier for opponents when they don’t have anything else to run on.”
The television spot hit the airwaves after Friends for Foxx raised nearly $600 thousand in the last quarter. The campaign began 2020 with over $1.1M in cash on hand, raising nearly five times as much in the fourth quarter as it did in the first half of 2019. These numbers show that the public believes in the progress that State’s Attorney Foxx is making, and they know her work has just begun.
Friends for Foxx’s first television ad hits the airwaves following growth at the campaign headquarters. Earlier this week, the campaign announced several new staff additions, using local and national talent, to continue to build a strong coalition of support for Kim Foxx.
